America was in my heart even before I’ve been there. Mountains of Colorado, Martian lanscapes of Utah, Arizona deserts, Grand Canyon, Route 66 – I’ve seen them in movies so many times before and was dreaming to see it all for real.
It’s not that easy to afford renting a bike in America with a Belarusian salary, but luckily I came across the offer of one company which needed to transfer their bikes from Denver to Phoenix after the end of the season and offered the bikes for half price. That’s how my travels began – and I almost didn’t have to plan the route 🙂
Adventure started right after I left Denver and took a serpentine towards the Rampart Range Road. It was nice and sunny and then suddenly I drove on ice on full speed and hardly retained control of the bike.
